J. Wilson a.k.a Crime Dogg started his musical journey in 1995 as a hip hop artist/music producer out of North side Minneapolis Minnesota. After realizing there had to be a better way to shed light on the street life of the twin cities and trying to find a better way to make a change. Turning the negatives into a more positive life was just the beginning. It was soon understood that in order to have full control of the music I would have to start a new movement. So in 1997 i started a independent start up label called greenhouse Inc. We released 2 E.P's and i released a E.P in 2002 called Straight Thuggin which was well received through the Minneapolis area. In 2003 i had to change the name of the label so i came up with 612 Records LLC and the name says it all! Throughout the years we continue to network with record labels successfully promoting and developing artists and Today 612 Records LLC is recognized as one of the best Independent music company's in Minnesota with a client and fan base that stretches around the globe. Crime Dogg continues to receive great recognition in the music industry for his strong lyrical content and crafty musical production. For over 13 years J. Wilson a.k.a Crime Dogg has recorded and produced hundreds of musical recordings and continues to be one of the hardest working independent hip hop artists/producers in the music industry Today.
