Kinda simple really...this DJ from france had this DJ name like DJ CUT KILLER ...his real name was CURTIS MILLER...and it was like so so close to his original that it was just a reflection of his name as a DJ. Basically i was kinda inspired by that after thinkin of a name for months...so i ended up pickin my real name YAZID...flipped it around with the "ID" and the "YAZ"...it became IDYAZ...then it just kinda evolved from IDEAS...to the more hip-hop-ish sorta feel DJ IDEAZ...tada...hehe...just sort of came out while my friend who i started djing with wanted to get serious names for each other...he got his i got mine that week...just happened...

Yea i play live...normally on bookings or so on...sometimes plan my own events...depends...either i play solo or with my other DJ friends or bands i session with...

it helps for international recognition and promotions...like u can get ur latest beats and stuff online for people to check out before they hit stores for instance...and it's a great way of promoting yourself as a musician or band...

i would...but not too soon...enjoying the no strings sorta musician feel...independence is main...or open my own label ? haha...that's always interesting

pretty much kicked off lovin turntablism ever since i heard skratches from all them hip-hop songs during my hi skool days. Then for my 16th birthday my friend DJ Ice Cream from Paris bought me a ticket to the 1998 World DMC DJ competition and i just pretty much got stoked out from there to DJ. My friend bought a set 2 weeks after that day and haha...we pretty much played around. A year later i left Paris after livin there for almost 6 years...then hooked up with a DJ school here called Playaz Universe. Started skratchin seriously and battlin. Then quit that school and did things on my own. Got my set on August28th2002 when i was 19 just before i turned 20...late i know...and practiced like hell for a good year, until this very day...and still practicing...so far my best feat is winning the Vice Champion title(after practicing personally for only 1 year) for the 6th annual PALA DJ battle in Singapore on 2nd October 2003 just one day after my 21st birthday, so it was like a great birthday gift for me...hehe. After that, things just really hit off. So still working my way up...

p.s. i started a malaysian turntablism website and officially had it launched around 2 years ago. Nowadays the site is getting almost 1000 visitors weekly. the site is supported by many DJ schools and companies locally and itnernationally.

Paris, Malaysia, Singapore...i mean these are the main places i lived in...can't name other places altho some parts of Europe are nice but haven't really lived there...ALPS Mountains are beautiful...miss snowboarding...argh...no snow in Malaysia...
