Rob "Rhyme Progression" Fischer is a conscious emcee and producer. In a genre surrounded by negative influences, he strives to stay true to himself and make music that people can relate too. Rhyme Pro is working on his debut album with Mac Lethal and Sapient(of Sandpeople and The Prime). On stage, he delivers an energetic show with DJ Blacksheep and from time to time will bring on live musicians as well. Inspired by the styles similar to Brother Ali and Atmosphere, Rob speaks words of truth from his life experience in the songs he emcees bringing Colorado its own taste of Independent Conscious Hip-Hop.
Why this name?
Rhyme Progression comes from when I was first learning how to rap. Some one was telling me that guitar players learn chord progression and emcees learn rhyme progression. I was telling this to a friend in NYC and he said it would make a preety cool stage name. We thought about it for awhile and decided it really fit what I was trying to do. It's more than just progression of words, I'm trying to make a progession of Hip-Hop and Society towards a more positive vibe.
Do you play live?
Yes, we play live at least bi-monthly all through out Colorado. We'd love to perform out state if we can gain the support. For booking inquiries, email rob@rhymeprogression.com.

For the better, you wouldn't be reading this if it weren't for mp3s!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the type of deal that was offered. These days I don't think there's a lot a label can do that we can't do ourselves.
