Quiddity is a sea. It is the sea of dreams, whose waters touch us only three times in our lifetime. Once the night we are born, once the night we sleep beside our true love, once and the night we die. Theoretically we can not visit this sea besides in our dreams those three nights, but if we had, the waters of Quiddity would transform us physically into what we look like in our hearts. Chris, Kevin, and Chie played together in Hemlok. Kevin played guitar in Fate's Cruel Joke and Todd was the drummer. We all wanted to do something different and SQ is the lovechild of that burning desire.

Our influences overlap in a lot of realms but ultimately there's so many individual differences that it wouldn't be accurate to list them here with any sort of expectation that we sound like any of them (i.e. Chris loves Nightwish and Nine Inch Nails but you won't hear any sort of that sound in "Tired of Fighting"). Just listen... then you decide who influences us.
