Why this name?
Chose that name because while doing a radio interview for The Alternative 92.7FM on South Padre Island, the band, did not have a name, and did in fact not have any consistent members either, at the last second before the interview took place, David decided to call his project Driving the Nails and the name has stuck and has since taken a life of its own,
Do you play live?
Driving the Nails has worked with several local promoters such as lunatic productions, wci entertainment and have played gigs at South Padre Island as well as Club Metropolis in McAllen. special moment would be playing at the island upon request, and there were just two of us but we pulled it off, drums and guitar proved to be enough to satisfy the crowd, we had no idea it would go so well after debuting the song "poison" on the radio, but thats what media does, it reaches many more people then you ever could on your own
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it changes industry because its easier to access and download songs through file sharing and internet promotions such as email or links on websites
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
depends on the deal...
