Artist/Producer- FM Watt??
Why this name?
My name originates for my love of Hip-hop artist MF Doom. The beginning of my name is in honor of Doom.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Honestly, the internet has opened doors to fans and enthusiasts of music whom otherwise wouldn't be noticed. The internet is a great avenue to get noticed. Overall, its changed the way the industry operates in my opinion.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not sure on this question.....My love is the for the underground scene of Hip-Hop, not the mainstream. When artists become commercial in essence, they are being told what type of music they have to make by the higher ups and due to this, a lot of artists who make it big-time lose their underground appeal and originality which to me is entirely unfortunate. Although, I would agree to work with artists with the same musical vision as my own.
Your influences?
First and foremost, my favorite artist of all-time, J-Dilla. MF Doom, as an MC and as a producer. A Tribe Called Quest, Aesop Rock, Benefit, Bonobo, Common, Dizzee Rascal, DJ Dangermouse, Madlib, Nas, RJD2, Jedi Mind Tricks, Jurassic 5, Klashnekoff, Talib Kweli, Wu-Tang Clan, RZA, GZA, Mos Def, Kanye West, Eminem, Sage Francis, Gangstarr, Ghostface, Cage, Atmosphere, MF Grimm, Kano, The Streets. Anything real, poetic or from the soul.

Equipment used:
Right now my only way to produce music is by using computer programs. Over time, I will hopefully have hardware to make beats. Although I may use software to produce, it has helped me put my ideas to music and as with anything, the more you practice, the more you get better.
Anything else...?
Overall, I love Hip-Hop and making beats. If I could do this profession for a living, doing what I love, my ultimate dream would come true. Long live hip hop!!!
