Why this name?
I am a schizophrenic artist, prone to "word salad," a technical term in psychiatry for the free association and linguistic chaos that I have been at times a good example of. I broke thru the meaningful meaninglessness of word salad to understand the true power behind musical linguistic communication, that is, instrument-accompanied, rhythmical lyricism: it is the underlying sound and energy realized during the positive emergence of words which express the musician or artist's soul. The musical soul of a song is measured in degrees of decibel, so I Cater to you these delectable Decibel Salads. Avoid the sugary pop all over the market: salads are a much healthier choice.
Do you play live?
I am a behind the scenes kind of sound guy. I have monitored the board at a few shows, some punk sets and hip hop. I've played a few private parties with my more electronica geared music, under the name of nerBeater.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Release my music to the whole world to find if they do some random searching and clicking? Why the hey not!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Perhaps, depending on the deal. I don't like getting hogwashed. I'm no fool. And not just looking for instant popularity. I am a musician at heart, and label or not I will never stop.
Band History:
I have learned everything I know about music besides listening skills and my interests since 2005 when I finally percolated on the crazy messed up lovely experimental electronic music to the point that I said, "I WANT TO DO THAT." I have no useful musical background. Have taken a few introductory music theory courses since 2005, while earning a B.A. in Philosophy and English. That was a lot of fun and will keep me thinking, writing, and talking on and on forever. That's why I make music and enjoy audio/music production.
I've been learning 5 years now to construct and compose electronica and instrumental music, record vocals and instrumentals ranging from acoustic punk to hip hop, and learning generally more about as many aspects of audio engineering as have caught my attention: from live sound, studio sound design, field recording, sound FX and production for radio theatre, and even radio programming and mixing in an on-air booth (www.chly.ca) and some audio-video editing.
I feel like I am well rounded and have some good sounds to offer some people who take the time to find me and listen. Currently I am taking classes in an audio engineering and production school, gaining very useful experience and knowledge about recording, editing, mixing, about electronics, about pro gear and methods, about methods of the successful and happy producers/engineers.... Between a B.A. and amping my skill areas in this audio program, I don't pump out music like crazy, but train my tricks and treats. I am working on significant projects for others quite often, finding more time these days for networking and engineering in the school pro studios than I am working at my own songs. They will keep coming, on and on!

The universe surrounds us, but nothing like Copernicus wrote. Dreaming is the core of life and structure. Society is the banding together of purpose. Music suffices as a mode of being to arrange all conscious throughput. Simply speaking, music is enough. I implore you to never, I mean never stop the music.
....Witness art set free.just once.and you could never be bored again...
