Born in 2003 out of frustration, A Dangerous Fiction is the brainchild of Aaron Rom. Mixing the ambition and drama of 70s progressive rock with the melodicism of 80s synth pop and the modern sensibilities of metal and electronica, Aaron forges a sound that pays respect to his influences while looking towards the future.

Do you play live?
Not playing live at the moment.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It puts the power back into the hands of the artists. It levels the playing field. However, it has also increased the signal to noise ratio in favor of the noise.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
After getting a degree in Music Business, no.
Your influences?
Porcupine Tree, Meshuggah, Nine Inch Nails, Peter Gabriel, Bjork, The Panic Division, Muse, Massive Attack, Photek, Squarepusher, Marillion, Dream Theater, Genesis. I should probably list Opeth and Sikth too.
