Tasting Infinity has been released. This is my first album. If you want a copy then send an email for more information.

Ioniphonic was born after I bought a Korg EM-1 and started fiddling around with it a little. I've always had the urge to produce my own electronica music, but the two playstation games Frequency and Amplitude got me motivated enough to actually start. I've studied music theory for most of my life starting with piano as my first instrument when I was seven.
Why this name?
It's a combination of the word Ion and Phonic. Only too late did I notice that the proper spelling would be "Ionophonic".
Do you play live?
Yep, I've done local shows live PA style. Have yet to travel out of the state for such things, but I'm willing.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
MP3 and Napster, specificly, opened up a wide new world of music. Downloading MP3 encourages me to by the high sound quality album. The only reason the RIAA is whining is because they want to keep a monopoly of cookie-cutter, manufactured pop music being the most popular.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
How major? Perhaps one day. I'd want to get a deal for the exposure. I could care less about the money. I'd be content to simply get my music out there.
Your influences?
Psychedelics.
Trascendentalism.
Classical music theory.
The power of the mind.
Equipment used:
Korg EM-1, EA-1, ER-1, ES-1
Korg EMX-1

Anything else...?
Special Thanks goes to Brett Pattison for making me a cool logo, album art, and helping out with some audio samples. He's been a big help.
