Established in 2005, So Clean Stunnas was jus a local group of people lookin for a reason to keep out tha streets by freestylin. Now outta school and into tha adult life I, Young Thugga, am lookin to establish myself as a serious artist. Although im still holdin for tha team, Im lookin to start a solo career and bring it back to where i came from.
Why this name?
Young Thug was my choice for a name do to tha fact that i would alway hear older people sterotype me and tha other younger kids as thug. they never took tha time to look and pay attention to my personal ways to see that i wasnt that man... that angered me... and my anger turned me that way...
Do you play live?
ive had shows before and will have em in the future... im lookin into tryin to get paid for shows, hopefully that'll work out...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
tha internet is one of a big plus to have when your in or tryin to make it into tha industry. you have the chance to promote yourself, and get feedback from people all across tha globe... i thank god for it....
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes, im lookin for a label to talk business to... if there contract is right, id be ready to commit to that label for a while. Universal didnt come correctly when they shot at me, maybe next time if they wanna talk business ya digg... power of tha dalla....
Your influences?
im obviously influenced by some of that games great like pac, biggie, jz, nas, etc., but id say that most of my music comes from somethin ive been thru or experienced, or somethin that ive seen someone go thru or heard of.....
Favorite spot?
Imma Texas Boy, and im from Paris, Tx. which is 2 hours away from tha D.... So I gotta say Dallas, Tx is wuz up... whenever i wanna get out and have real fun, i gotta hit tha D up!!!!
Equipment used:
I record wit Acid and Pro Tools, I make beats on fl studio, but i also have a Producer that uses reason(AND ITS JUS ANOTHA LEGACY BEAT BAY-BAEHHH~)... and oh yea, my mic is about mid way studio efficent
