Earlier Years
NEWS   These are songs that I have written, which for a number of reasons have sat in limbo for a few years. Some are roughs, some have very bad playing on them etc. But all are me and I love them all like children!

This is me left overs. By some accounts it might be the better me. I am still looking for others to collaborate with so if you like anything that I do and you like anything that you do and you would like to see if my do and you do make do do (Oh me bad!) please let me know.
Why this name?
In this case it's uh kind of obvious.....
Do you play live?
I have not played live in a while. Used to do it a lot with our band. But the band broke up like the Columbia disaster and I was left just about as fragmented. I would love to play live again, just don't envision it as a one man band.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
like I said on my main page...it's great. Mp3 itself as a format is less than perfect. It's like we've gone back to wax cylinder recordings. There's really no modern format that has not been foisted on us by Company's like Sony, Apple etc that is acceptable sound wise. But as usual we all make do for it's convenience. The internet and exposure well that's a whole different story.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I rather not really. I mean, yes of course in a perfect world where they would bother with an old idiot like me, yeah, it would be nice, but I'd really rather do it all on the internet and get a little help from my friends.
Band History:
I've had many histories. I don't really think any of that old information means a lot. Really, I'd like to live here and now or looking forward to new things. If someone out there thinks that they like what I have done and what I currently do and what we could do in the future together, that is the most important thing that I care about.
Your influences?
There's just so many influences and none of it all means that my music is in any way like those influences. I have always been all over the map with these sorts of things. I could say that Radiohead or Aimmee Mann influence me..or I could say that I listen to them and they inspire me. My old friend Joven influenced me or perhaps my first guitar teacher. Influence verses inspire. The weather influences me, my mood influences my music, Wilco inspires me. When I listen to a new album, I run up to my studio and begin writing.
Favorite spot?
I like it right here in California but I'm equally comfortable in many places.
Anything else...?
Well, I just plain want you to want to want me to make music. It's every artists dream really. We all like to say that we do it for ourselves but I don't think that's completely true. Music is a sharing art form. It's a form of communication. We move stories and feelings of emotion etc between different people and places. I, myself do see it as a form of inner therapy of sorts, but in the end it would be nice to create music with other people and then have an audience whether live or not be able to hear that music and respond, react, enjoy, pass on, the list is endless.
