Jesse Burns has always had an avid interest in composing music, and now he's finally found his niche in engineering electronic music. Although he is a gifted guitar player and quickly learning pianist, electronic music is what comes most naturally to him when recording. Fortunately he has been able to incorporate his other musical talents into his music, giving it a unique sound that is unmatched by other electronic music. Jesse's lyrics are motivated by the love for his Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ, hence his artist name. Jesse's goal is to glorify the one who has capture his heart and soul in every song, and to spread the message through his music. With a balanced mixture of peppy, love letter songs and more serious, sincere poetry type songs, LoveIsElectric lives up to its name both by the style of the music and the message of the lyrics. Thanks for your interest and support! God bless you richly.
Why this name?
I wanted a name that would convey the style of music well and the lyrics that I wrote. I was actually sitting in class one day when I wrote the words "loveiselectric" in the midst of a doodle of electricity bolts. The name has 2 intended meanings: 1. to tell of the genre of music (electronic, hence "electric") 2. to demonstrate how "electric" and fulfilling and indescribable the love of Christ is.
Do you play live?
Not yet, but I hope to!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It pretty much has disassembled the album, because now people can buy only songs they like, and they don't have to purchase entire albums. For the buyer this is a great thing, but not always for the artist. However, the internet music industry has pretty much made it possible for anyone to get their music out there, so people who aren't signed and who are musical hopefuls (like me!) are able to get known.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course. I'm constantly learning about music as I go along, and being signed would open the door to a massive world of new abilities that I otherwise wouldn't have had access to. Plus, it's a great way to get much more publicity for my music, although that is not my goal. I just love making music and I love it when other people like my music.
Your influences?
Owl City really gave me the inspiration to start this project. When I found out that all Owl City consists of is Adam Young recording music in his basement with (relatively) low budget instruments, I was floored. Also bands like Mute Math and And Then There Were None really give me good musical insight and teach me a lot.
Favorite spot?
I'd have to say at my cousin's house.
Equipment used:
My Macbook Pro, an M-Audio MobilePre USB preamp, an Audio-Technica AT2020 mic, and Garageband!
Anything else...?
I just want my music to convey the love of Christ and His salvation. I don't necessarily want to be famous or rich (although even if I could make a living out of music I'd love it). I just love creating creative music and entertaining people.
