Why this name?

DV is my nickname (also my initials) that everybody calls me and knows me by. The "Beats" was added to my nickname to clarify that I am a producer.

Do you play live?

I have only played live once with my group Third Generation yet I am looking for new venues at the moment!

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

The internet, to me, seems to be a great tool and necessity for the growth of an artist's exposure as it helps make your music available to anyone around the world and enables artists to even interact with their fans more easily. MP3 is great as well because it is a common worldwide file that any computer can download and it enables an artist to let people download their music in an easy-to-use and commonly downloaded file.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

All depends on the terms and conditions!

DV Beats is an 18 year-old producer, rapper, and songwriter from Cocoa, Florida. As of now, he is currently producing instrumentals of various genres such as Hip-Hop, Reggaeton, Techno, and more for his own personal uses, for people to listen to, and for friends and other artists who would like to use them for their own personal use. He is also actively recording songs for his upcoming mixtapes, EP's, and other future projects. You can support him by checking out his music and by following his updates.
