Never had time, or the training for music when I was young. Now I'm retired, & someone's invented music-writing software, I'm making up for lost time.
Mostly interested in vaguely classical-type genres - art songs, short instrumental pieces to date. Have also briefly attempted choral music (non-religious), easy listening & relaxation, now working on ideas for more extended pieces (orchestral, chamber, etc).
Would be specially interested in making contact with singers & players who could try my compositions out for me.

Do you play live?
No, I only compose. Used to play French horn & trombone, but haven't got the lips or the lungs for it now.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Beyond recognition
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
n/a - I don't perform
Band History:
Had a very basic musical education at school & uni, long ago but at least they did things thoroughly then. So I was able to keep up an interest in music while doing other things to earn a living. This involved a lot of listening and quite a lot of studying scores. Now, following retirement, I spend a lot of time composing at the computer.
Your influences?
Debussy, Schubert, Rachmaninov, etc
Favorite spot?
I don't get attached to places. Where I like to be is the space between my ears.
