My experience in music production began at the age of 17, I have since developed many acts on the island of St.Lucia in the West Indies. In the year 2008 my production house earned 11 nominations and 4 awards in the Inaugural St.Lucia Music Awards.
All of the produced acts have been featured on local and regional radio; and a select few tracks have been selected in various Caribbean Television and Movie Soundtracks.
The video "Take You Home" Produced by Sherwinn Brice has been featured on MTV's TEMPO and BET J (formerly BET JAZZ) Specialties:
Music Production (R&B, Dancehall, Soca, Hip Hop), Songwriting, Composition

Why this name?
My name is Shortened from Superhuman down from Super Dupes to just Dupes. I am a big multitasker handle my own business. Whether its writing/producing/video editing or just artist management I do it all with a Super DUPER drive. hence DUPES

My act Shayne Ross performed at the 18th Annual St.Lucia Jazz Festival. opened for Chaka kHan Patti La Belle, Chicago and Beres Hammond
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has seriously leveled the playing field allowing the people from everywhere in the world to be a part of something that was very sectioned off. my first mp3 was wild wild west
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would love to be a part of the music business machine. Its a business I have always been fascinated with. However I do believe in the INDIE route but it all comes down to the All Mighty Dollar.

Berry Gordy, Quincy Jones, Ray Charles, R Kelly, Jay Z and Many Many More. WYCLEF JEAN especially
