Lemmi Opus: Lead Vocals (Keys & Percs), Dobs Jensen: Sequencing (Vinyl Shredding)

We started playing together in tech school. Soon we were rippin it up at all the keggers and rave wannabe parties all over town.
Why this name?
Got the idea for this name when I read a story about a guy who tried to commit suicide and failed, each of the 7 times he attempted it.
Do you play live?
Yes, though lately we have been busy dealing with Dobs and his multi-day beer binges.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Gives guys like me, and other alien life forms, the ability to spread their mindless diseases upon the earth.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would sign any contract from any record whore. Jason doesn't know what he's in for with us!
Band History:
Suicide Failures is the first outside group to be added to the FunGus Records family. FunGus Records is a small lable founded by artist/producer Jason Moore in 1999. They began working with Jason in 2001, with the goal of becoming the lable's meal ticket. Lemmi Opus, the main creator and mastermind behind the contriversially titled group, has been famous thus far for speaking publically about his so called alien origin. In an interview done in April 2003, Lemmi was quoted as saying.. "They never believe me when I tell them I am from Zorb20, the 3rd nearest galaxie from this one." He also stated, "When people finally figure out what it's all about, they will embrace me and my ideas. They just need to realize that we all originated from that galaxie." Neither Dobs Jensen, or Jason Moore could be reached for comment.
