Why this name?
it actually came from an insult, someone had called my former band Strangefire a Decaying Orbit, I thought ut was hilarious!!! the name also comes from one of my favorite movies "Event Horizon". other than that the name just stuck....
Do you play live?
Tour Currently in preperation, stay tuned.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet makes it much easier for artists and musicians to reach a much wider audience than they ever have been capable of before.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
HELL NO!!! the dinosaurs in the music industry could never handle my punk rock ideals. I see music as a magical art form. an expression of self, a catharsis, not a commodity or a product to be sold to the mindless masses buying up whatever they're told. music is a beautiful form of expression, not a matter of the God of Money, let the dinosaurs make their millions, I'm happy in the underground.
Band History:
Decaying Orbit started after the and of Strangefire. Strangefire ended after Tak! tried to kill me in a drunken rage. Willow took me in and nursed me to health at which point I started recording again and recorded the albums(almost simultaneously) "Born to Decay" and "Noizez From The Morgue". from there I started handing out cds and my songs on SC started doing very well until my site was hacked by Tak! who had been stalking me and Amanda as well as threatening our lives(as if he would have a chance against me). but I rebuilt the site and the songs not only went back to their places but many went to number one, I was shocked! around this point Decaying enterprises started to flourish with Willow as the manager, I named Decaying Orbits' studio The Morgue. around this time we moved to a much smaller apartment and I began recording my third album "Ifurin"(a Celtic word meaning hell). also during the recordings I worked on collabs with Nandoo and Faunaserene. the record hit some set backs when I lost my job but was finally released in November 2010. I was handing out promo eps like crazy all over town during the wait for Ifurin's release. right before we lost our internet connection I released an online only B-sides ep entitled "The Ghosts That Never were". over the next year we were off line so I barely was able to get on SC. that didn't stop us a bit from handing out hundreds of cds. I also began recording like a mad man for the upcoming release in 2012, the album is titled "Chaos Theory". now back online I have been collabing with Fauna serene and am in the process of working on MANY other collabs with various artists. plus since it will be soooo long before "Chaos Theory" in unleashed I have released a B-Sides record entitled 'Narcotica' so everyone can get their Decaying fix. Me and Willow will ne getting married this year on November 5th and I couldn't be happier with my life!!! I would like to thank all the listeners out there on the web and on the streets!!! all of you are AWESOME and have my never ending Gratitude!!!

I am a Buddhist/Pagan, I believe Punk Rock goes beyond a fashion statement and stands more for complete and utter personal freedom to listen to what you like and wear what you want. I am very liberal but still have a set of very strict morals. I hate bigotry in ALL of it's myriad forms. I believe in Love. I consider myself s realist not an optimist or cynic, the glass isn't half full or half empty, it is simply a glass with liquid in it. I am totally in Love with my fiance Willow. I call myself Goth merely for the lack of a better term, I could be called emo or punk or anything really. I do not believe in musical genre and I try to push myself to think outside of genre. I LOVE ALL MUSIC. I believe music is magic. I have been wrriting since I was a small child and have wanted to be a musician since I was a very small child(much to my parents dismay). I believe in complete freedom of expression as individuals. I am an artist as well as a writer and musician. I enjoy th night more than the day. people consider me dark, but I am merely brutally and bluntly honest. I feel people misunderstand my music in a lot of ways, seeing only the darkness in it... I suppose that's it for now... Love and Light to ALL!!!
