Band History:
~1994~
DyingFace is a one man DEATH NOISE project.Dying Face began in 1994.
Myself as Robert Tally and Mike Clark (Blooded/Drunkman Walking Productions) first recorded
an ultra lo-fi noise album entitled Tunnel of Insanity in the latter months of 1994.Being reviewed by many Tunnel became an underground master piece.
Weeks after the recording of Tunnel I began working on a new project...DYINGFACE.
DYINGFACE marked it's debut with another ultra lo-fi noise effort entitled DIVINE EMPIRE OF EVIL...forever we rot. While Tunnel focused mainly on lo-fi tripnotics Divine Empire introduced a new sound, one consisting of multi layered demon growls and an unheard of backwards masking tecnique,a sound so terrifying it gave birth to a new genre of noise ...
DEATH NOISE.
Niether Tunnel of Insanity nor Divine Empire were ever released outside of their masters and regretfully are no longer in existance.
~1999~
In 1999 DYINGFACE recruites the axe work of Jeremy Clark (Kolobos/Sludge Kill) for the recording of a new DF release.Tracks recorded at this time featured hi-fi tripnotics and were later released as THE WASP HEAD SESSION.The Wasp Head Session featured a follow up to BLACK SABBATH's 1972 FX entitled FXII.
~2000-2001~
Begining in 2000 original mixing tapes were found from the recording sessions of TUNNEL OF INSANITY and DIVINE EMPIRE, most notable was the 1st ever DF track and to this point in time the only DF track to feature vocals, MONSTER GODMAN. Also discovered was the 1st DF track to feature samples,EVOL. A remix of BLACK SABBATH's SOLITUDE recorded during the TUNNEL session was too unearthed.
In 2001 several of these "lost" tracks along with THE WASP HEAD SESSION and a few new DF tracks were compiled on the first DYINGFACE cd entitled SMUTTHOLE.One of the new tracks featured on SMUTTHOLE was the ultra hi-fi 10 minute+ epic THE INFLUENCE.
~2004~
2004 brought the release of the DF ep THE INFLUENCE. THE INFLUENCE contained five tracks, two of which(DRAG & MISERY DRONE) were originally recorded in 1994 for TUNNEL OF INSANITY and were remixed for the INFLUENCE ep. A third track,MATOOL/INTO THE HELL HOLE was a brand new track and the epic THE INFLUENCE was broken down into two tracks to finish off the ep.
~2008~
OUT OF OBSCURITY was recorded in November of 2008.
~2009~
WARNING/DYINGFACE was recorded in January 2009.All tracks are featured here with the exception of the bonus tracks LOST FILES(crybaby mix) and instramental IAMLOST.
DYINGFACE WILL CONTINUE TO DOMINATE THE DEATH NOISE GENRE.
