Where are you from?
Greenville, SC

And how did the moniker B. Tye come about?
B. is a short for Blizzi 'cause we burn it down quite often. TYE originally stood for THE YOUNG EASTSIDER but now it stands for TRUST YOUR ENVY; as in Im suppose to be hated on.

How did you come into your situation on HardBody Muzik Entertainment?
I actually started Hardbody Muzik. I started making beats back in high school and thats the name I chose to recognize my work by.
When we wanna say something is 'tough', like say a nigga's flow is nice, we'll say something like "Dude spit hardbody". Feel me?

And you're a producer and MC with HbME?
Yea, I started out rapping when I when I was way younger so by the time I grew into my flow I had mad lyrics and no beats LOL so my man put me on to FruityLoops and I was actually good at it so I never looked back. It just made since to do both.

What is HbME working toward? A recording contract? Distribution deal?
I'm more interested in a production and distribution deal. Most recording deals... artist rush into 'em and end up gettin' raped. I'd rather do the foot work myself and just have the promotional backing makes for a bigger turn around.

When people turn off the radio after hearing your music what do you want them to walk away with?
I just want people to feel my music like I feel my music. I dont just do this sh*** 'cause its a slight chance I could blow and make major paper but I put heart and soul into what I do and it has gotten me thru alot of hard times and bullshit.

Beyond the advertisy and trials of life, what has influenced you and your music?
LOL Weed... nah but I love Hip Hop. No matter where its from eventhough I try to stick to more underground artists cause I relate to them more. Tupac was one of the first tho'. Big, Jay-Z, The Clipse, Stack Bundles, anybody thats different. There's a group overseas, S.A.S, they go hardbody too. But, we at HardBody Muzik, as a team, mostly feed off of each other.

What 5 people will you shout out in your first award acceptance speech?
LOL my Mom definitely, my n*** Dutch cause he taught me a lot, my support team because every little bit helps, God for helping me out of legal trouble, and myself for not just puttin' this sh*** down after adversity but having patience

Any special message for the people and your fans?
I just want to thank everybody that's been with the movement-support wise as well as on their grind. I feel like in this industry, indie artist need to unite more and [build more of a] network. A lot of niggas wanna be the hottest thing and hog limelight they haven't even acquired yet. So anybody tryna f*** wit us, come f*** wit us...if you're serious and love what you do. We only want people around with the same passion that we have.
