The Band I have played in most of my life was called the "Kontinentals"
We began life in Hong Kong in the 60's and once in a blue moon we come alive
and strike (ala The Commitments) then fade back into the shadows. I currently
write and record alone..with inspirations from young love and the magic of Hong Kong

Why this name?
My Great Great grandfather was Sir Henry Cohen, so I took on his last
name for my original song recording as well as my screen plays, my real last name is Christian...

Do you play live?
We, as the Kontinentals play once every 20 years it turns out, but smaller versions
of the original band play about twice a year at private functions..its a lot of fun.
One very special moment was playing for 250 friends at a HK reunion in Sept 08..

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yes it does, I miss the vinyl days and the Jacket art and holding the record in your
hands, feeling the music before you heard it...very special
