I just write songs about my life and how I perceive the world around me. I've been across this old country a few times, and seen a lot of shit, so I have to express it somehow.
Why this name?
It's my nickname, I play acoustic guitar, so I call myself that.
Do you play live?
Yes, I've played a lot of East Coast streets and bars, and now I'm back on the West coast trying to do the same. I love doing it. There's no feeling better than playing for a packed room of people who actually wanna hear what you have to say. I've had too many special moments to even count. The best times are always those nights with you and your friends, getting all messed up after a gig, walking down the street being assholes.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Haha, I hope it destroys those corporate whores.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If I didn't have to change what I sang about, and they had no control of who was in my band.
Band History:
I was in some punk and metal bands back in the day, and when that fell apart I moved to Erie, PA. There I picked up an acoustic guitar and started writing songs with the same sensibilities as the bands I use to be in, but I had complete free range of what I wrote and sang about; It made everything a lot easier.
Anyhow, I played there and around that area for a while; squats, bars, street corners, where ever I could whenever I could. I released a few demos, and never realy got anywhere with it all, other than a whole lot of drunken nights.
So I moved back to California and now I keep on keeping on, playing with friends on occassion, and writing more songs. I have an upcoming Split CD coming out with my good friend "Filthy Luke," and a short West Coast tour to support the album. So keep your head up for that if you're in the area.

Your influences?
My influences range from all sorts of directions. Country, punk, death metal, and even a little bit of rap. Some of my biggest influences are: Hank Williams, Roger Miller, Bob Dylan, Glen Danzig, Blood for Blood, Aus Rotten, Tragedy, G.G. Allin, Toxic Narcotic, and The Ramones.
Favorite spot?
I love the open road.
Equipment used:
Whatever acoustic guitar I can get my hands on.
