Shayne, a mechanic by day has always loved rock music. He has played in various bands since he was 14years old. His first band, with no vocalist, was the three piece instrumental band called S.O.S. who finished 4th from 58 bands in a high school battle of the bands contest. Shayne had record label interest with his band NO LYZ prior to their demise in 1993. After a long break from playing Shayne has recently started writing again and is the main songwriter behind the Glass Puppets tunes.

Ian, a prolific singer/songwriter and composer in his own right has released 10 independent albums since 2002. Ian & Shayne teamed up back in 2006 when Shayne discovered Ian's albums while he was servicing his vehicle. He noticed CDs on the passengers seat with Ian's name & photo on them. He played a couple of tracks and was very impressed by not only the quality of Ian's artwork design, but his music & production also sounded very professional. Ian is also known for his numerous international collaborations and his virtual band Cybase

Debs, an honours degree graduate from Auckland University is not only the lead vocalist for Glass Puppets and an Auckland-based cover band, but is also a violin virtuoso as well!

Scott started playing drums in school band at age 11. Prior to this point, his rhythmic instincts were carried out on his mother's pots and pans. Scott has played shows with 15 in attendance and shows with 15,000 in attendance and he truly enjoys being on stage. He has played hard rock, pop rock, indie rock, "stoner" rock, funky rock, country rock, thrash metal, nu metal, punk, "oldies", and a few one-off fill-in gigs for cover bands.
