Why this name?
"Create in me a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit in me" - Psalm 51
Psalm 51 was written by king David of Israel after being convicted of his sin of adulterty. David was not only Israel's greatest king but he was also the greatest songwriter who ever lived. The proof of this is that we are still reading his lyrics today, thousands of years after he wrote most of the Psalms (which were actually songs). He was a skilled musician too.
I use the name, "Steadfazt Spirit", as a daily reminder to myself that I need to keep a clean heart and have an upright Spirit by continuing to walk with Jesus. It's the only way.

Do you play live?
Yes, I play the electric guitar with the praise team at my church and I also play at Christian outreach events in South Florida several times a month. They're usually outdoors which is nice, and I get to fellowship and hang out with other Christian artists at these events.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Oh it's a beautiful thing, how the new technology permits your music to be heard by so many people all over the world. My desire is to further God's kingdom by getting the songs He's given to me "out there". No sense in keeping them to myself, eh?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, if it was a righteous deal.
Your influences?
Many, from rock to country to R&B to blues to reggae
Favorite spot?
Wherever I am, that's where God wants me to be, so that's my fav at that time
Equipment used:
I'm purchasing a Tascam DP-02 tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to using it for my next CD
