Hi my name is Kool-Nerd! I grew up in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. I currently attend Capital University, striving to obtain a degree in Music Technology. I've been into production and engineering since I was 15 and been playing instruments since the 5th grade (10 years old). Music is my life! I love meeting new artist and new talent. Why this name?

I know I'm a nerd... I went to Case Western Reserve University (Nerd Capital), but I know I'm a pretty cool guy at the same time... hence the name Kool-Nerd. Plus this is the age of the cool nerds... being a nerd and playing video games all day is the thing to do lol.

Do you play live?

I will when I jam with the bands that i collaborate with. I have never played live at shows but I wouldn't mind.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It makes music available to the world. If you have internet, you have music. Also makes it easier to share and find new artists.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Of course lol. Decaydance Records and Next Selection would be nice but really I'd take anything that fits to my movement.

Band History:

I use to be in a group called Fresh and we started when I was 15. I decided the group was holding me back because I felt like I was always waiting on them and catering to them. I knew I was more serious so I ventured out and went solo and changed my name... new name but the man hasn't changed.

Your influences?

I get inspiration from everywhere. That's why I listen to so many genres.

Favorite spot?

Cleveland of course.
