Telle Thomas started his career as a dancer at the age of 9. Growing up in Chicago, he learned from many local artists -- Dajae, Cashmire, and Outhere Bros., to name a few -- and was also fortunate enough to work with rising superstars, R. Kelly and Da-Brat, who were also just local artists themselves at the time.
In 1995, Telle moved to New York to pursue his dream of choreography. To gain industry knowledge and begin to make a name for himself, he began interning at various music labels such as Sony, Atlantic Records, Warner Brothers and Universal. While interning, he was given the opportunity to work under artist development with numerous unsigned artists as a choreographer. During this time, he also toured with Cal- a Hip Hop artist featured on "Tommy Boy." He caught the attention of rap artist, Lil' Mo, who hired him as her personal assistant. It was through this venture that Telle worked with various artists and producers as Yummy Bingham, Jaheem, and Rockwilder.
While building his career as a choreographer, Telle met Tamar Braxton in 1997, just as she was beginning to break out of her all-sister group, The Braxtons, and venture into a solo career of her own. As Tamar began preparations for her first tour as a Dreamworks recording artist, she invited Telle to be her choreographer. Never missing an opportunity to perform, he performed as a dancer on the 1998 MTV Music Awards.
After wrapping with Tamar, Telle decided to learn more about songwriting, and developed aspirations to be a performer as well. Collaborating with and assisting writers and artists such as Michelle Belle, Ellis Miah, and the ladies of Big Drawz Music Group, Telle grew tremendously as a writer and performer. He was becoming a solo artist! In 2000, Telle began to seek out new and fresh beats with which he would make his new sound and started working with such producers as The Professionals, Boogs, Alon Travis and others to prepare his demo.
Currently, Telle is working hard on developing his career as a solo artist- drawing inspiration from the many talented musicians, producers, writers and performers that he has both met and worked with throughout his career. His talent and dedication as a solo artist has garnered him notoriety from several rising producers in New York City; and he is now back in the studio, writing and recording tracks for his brand new demo. With his soulful sound and fresh lyrics, Telle is not one to be missed!

Why this name?
Easy it already belonged to me.
Do you play live?
I start performing live this summer.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Hell yeah! There are so many artists that don't get ther just due because people are counting "cd" sales when if fact those days are slowly but surely coming to an end. Internet sales (if counted) would definatley break new artists, yeah the music industry is changing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe?
