Paradise

My dear friend Tim Gillespie playing acoustic guitar with some slide guitar that I added. I emailed the song to another high school buddy of ours (Craig Thomas) and he added the piano.

Too Far Gone

This is an instumental guitar piece along the lines of Jeff Beck or Joe Satriani. Some slide guitar thrown in for good measure! Enjoy!

Mikey's Groove

This is a snappy little jazz/rock thing I did with my friend Tommy Thompson on keys.
I'm a singer/guitarist/songwriter based in the SF Bay Area. I'm most well-known as a slide guitarist.
Band/artist history
I've toured with the Gregg Allman Band as the slide guitarist, and performed numerous shows with Eddie Money. I recently played on two tracks for the Deacon Jones "Jone$in for Money" record that Eddie sang several cuts on as well. I've also appeared on the record "Gilrock Ranch" a solo album from Brad Gillis (Night Ranger). I recently recorded a solo on track 3 on the new 38 Special CD, "Drivetrain". I was the guitarist for local favorites the Alameda All Stars for 12 years. I do lots of shows around town with the Royal Doggs, featuring Johnny Gunn on guitar and vocals and Donny Baldwin on drums. I still get asked to play with my dear friend Daniel Castro from time to time...what a treat that is! I've done lots of shows opening for 38 Special and Night Ranger - always great guys to work with.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I still do lots of live shows with the Royal Doggs and Bad Juju, a band I started with Johnny Gunn, Preston Thrall, and Tommy Miller. I guess the high points of playing live for me have been touring with Gregg Allman and playing with Eddie Money. These are both talented artists that I have always admired. One of the tours I did with Gregg Allman we also had the pleasure of The Deacon Himself, Mr. Jimmy Hall (Wet Willie) on vocals, sax, and harp. Danny Chauncey (38 Special) played guitar on the tour as well. THAT was one of the best tours!!
Your musical influences
Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, Little Feat, the Allman Brothers Band.
