wyldwyverne
i play guitar and recorders and sing traditional american, english, irish, scottish and australian folksongs, old ballads and some of my own songs. my own songs tend to have pagan themes, specifically, druidic.
sometimes one of my friends joins me and we sing harmonies. very occasionally, we sing in other languages.
Why this name?
wyld looks nicer with a y, especially when followed by wyverne. wyvernes are dragons - they don't get chosen, they choose.
Do you play live?
only around the campfire to small audiences, and i might let loose with an old ballad or two at pagan things.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it will ultimately remove the bottleneck where the recording industry chooses most of the music for most of the people - too many listening to too few - and puts the price of the recordings into the hands of the artist - no go-between.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes, certainly
