Kernel Panic! is currently a one-man band based in the San Franicsco Bay Area. Any musicians in the bay area interested in collaborating should contact me as I'm always looking to bounce new ideas off those with similar interests. Also, the idea of open source music has always appealed to me, so feel free to add a beat to my tracks or use them in your tunez as well. Be sure to always give credit where it is deserved :)
Why this name?
Most people refer to kernel panics as the blue screen of death. If you use a real operating system, you won't see a blue screen.
Do you play live?
Not yet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I hope its open new doors for music collaboration between independent artists. Hopefully, there is room for this concept to grow as it has with other open collaborative environments - software being one example I can think of.
