SoundClick artist: expert systems - Mid-America's Breakbeat Soundtrack

Place for solicited criticism of our first drafts of breakbeat jazz. We try to expand forms. This music tries not to loop. It swims in other cliches for now, in another year, maybe completely atonal.

Why this name?

The expert systems underground is a fictional geto computer seminar - low budget, housed in a Kansas City, KS community center. Genius hungry kids, slackware on old pentiums.

Do you play live?

No. Not a band, really. Quite unprofessional, actually. Potential DJ/electronic/multimedia presentations in Kansas meadows after our statement has been made. Why market until we have an hour or so of music that people like that we can rotate.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

This makes the music industry like poetry. This site is a vanity press for my bad poetry.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Here's an insane dream.

Band History:

One day we will find a low rent spot and throw together a PA and an ASR and SP1200 and throw parties for disillusioned youth. We don't even dream to play our own music at these shows. Teach the kids to do it themselves. Electronic music is like an ocean of bad poetry....
