Why this name?
I had a line in a song that went "Ordeal, best described as a hectic situation/followed by tradgety and mass devestation" and from then on it kinda stuck. lame i know
Do you play live?
I have played shows. In 2000 i played a couple shows with a rapcore band i was with at the time called 508 at a club called Reflections in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Later in 2001 i performed with my producer abbadon at the elks lodge in laconia NH a few times. twice as opening act lifted, and once as opening act for passage of restiform bodies (anticon records) and fierce skribble jam competitor Adeem.
Performing is really what its all about. i mean u do it for the music but of course u want to reach ppl. There were sum cool moments. When we opened for lifted, a guy dressed like a blues brother hopped on stage with a briefcase, whipped out a harmonica, and joined the band b4 going hed to hed in a harmonica battle wit lifted mc justin delate. that was cool. And getting to performed with known artists like passage and adeem is the hi light of my resume

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changed the industry cuz it opened a lot of ppls eyes to the way music is promoted and made, and how the industy is really in need of revolution. mp3s made it alot easier to discover bands u have never herd, or to get music thats hard to find in your local shop. i think it also screwed up sum stuff, buecuz b4 you'd have to search to discover a band you heard from a friend. buy the album, read the lyrics, smell the cover, you know really get into it. Then you'd scour the papers and see this band you found, theyre playing in sum hole in the wall and you drive and hour and pay 5 bux to have your soul reborn. there was mystery and intrigue. a community surrounded artists who did things differently, they traveled together, toured with each other, and pock marked the country with a sense of hope for kids who went to hthose shows who now kno the dream is possible. Now all u do is click click and u get everything free. listen for a sec, process, next song, its too ez, theres no fan participation, its all automated
