MERCH, was born in Gary, IN on April 8, 1977. He says of his introduction to the rap game, “BIG and K.I.N.G. got me into this game that we call rap. With their influence and severe encouragement, I produced beats for the vast majority of tracks on this album.” Before becoming a member of this group, T-Money could be found doing anything to survive. “T.K.S. is all that there is in life for me. It almost feels like I was born in this game. I went from being a “G” Star, to washing cars, to making tracks.”
Twon-Finn, was born May 6, 1979 in Gary, Indiana. He says his introduction to the game began when, “Mic Fudge and I had a rap group, just trying to do our thang. We met T-Money who took us under his wing and put us on to Hard Tyme Records.”
Mic Fudge, was born 22 years ago in Gary, Indiana. When asked about his start in the rap game he said, “I was just standing out on my block free stylin. Instead of watching all the other talent blow up and get off the streets, I decided to pick up a pen and write. I met up with Twon-Finn and together we joined the ranks of the Hard Tyme Records family.”
Quarter-O, was born in Gary, Indiana. This 20 year old lyricist says of the rap game, “I was introduced to this game by my older relatives, so when I decided to pursue rap as a career, I was rather young. My style is unlike anyone else in the industry. I found artists like N.W.A., Ghetto Boyz, Twista, Do or Die, Brother Lynch, C-Bo, and others to be very influential to my style of rap.” Before he became a member of Hard Tyme Records he says, “I was friends with Merch (T-Money) and washing cars at The King's Service Car Wash. Merch recognized my skill and I’ve been on board with H.T.R. ever since.”
