Shad Hitz was born as Norris Rashad Armond Hill, on November 24, 1986 in Cleveland Ohio. He was the blessing of two hard working parents Adrienne Waugh and Norris hill. Shad’s childhood was one of a typical unstable family, his parent’s divorced when he was 5. Which consequently cause him to move several times with his mother until they finally resided in Cleveland heights. Shad had no idea what was in stored for him here, but this is the place where he finds his inter talents.

Shad first started raping in the 7th grade, he wasn’t really serious about it at first, he and his friends would rap about each other in their home room to pass time. Shad formed his first group with some friends of his calling their selves “The Land Rollerz” and him calling him self ”Ruthless“(a name he got from the Cleveland group “bone thugs n harmony“). They tried out for their schools talent show, but didn’t make it because someone used profanity. As the group got more into their music they tried recording them selves on a karaoke machine, which didn’t work in their favor because if someone messed up they had to start all over, Shad says this taught him perfection.

The changing point in Shad’s life was on September 9, 2001 when his father unexpectedly passed. After the traumatic passing of his father he began calling himself Shad a shortened nickname from his middle name because he wanted people to take him more serious. This was when music meant the most to him it was his way to vent, his way to express himself because he never expressed his feelings as a adolescence, he started pouring all of his pain and experiences as a teenager into his music. This is when his music became stories of his way of life, making songs like “The Book of Hustle” and “Cleveland State of Mind”. As Shad got older he Created a group by the name of H.T.M, which included former group member Kollision and his neighbor D-Werd. As a way to stand out in his group Shad began to experiment with harmony to give the songs a different feel.

The group worked hard, they traveled out of town frequently were they had access to a phenomenal studio where they made hits like “Uptown Anthem“. The group decided it was time for them to pursue more recognition and began to perform in their cities night scene also known as the “flats” in downtown Cleveland. They also performed at local bars in their area because he believed no venue was to small to potentially gain a fan. They performed hits such as “Do It Big“,” Grind” and “Swag off. Shad enjoys working with his group but also likes being a solo artist because it enables his music to be more personal and allows him to get deeper into each subject. Shad decided he was going to strive for his dreams by putting a studio in his two bedroom apartment, where he taught himself how to record , mix and master songs, he also took interest in graph design, calling him self “self made”.

After Shad’s first solo debut mix tape “Who Am I” he realize that others appreciated his talent which made him put more time and effort into his craft. Seeing that he created a buzz and gained fans only helped build his confidences and drive. Shad is now simultaneously working on two projects a mix tape entitled “The Re-Up” and an album entitled “The 25th hour”. Shad is current trying to find ways to better his career and is on a promotional tour through out local cites and states.

The musical genius has a lot of talent to offer and is waiting on his opportunity to show the world he has what it takes to be successful as a business man and artist in the industry. The main goal Shad strives to achieve is to touch people through song wit his message even if its just one person.
