The name 4Legacy was originated as the four-part story of the four founding members of the group. Since then, it has become a symbol of our successes, failures, pasts, and overall vision.

We have members in WI (West Bend, Port Washington, Saukville) as well as Illinois (Chicago). We will pretty much play any venue but mostly, we're limited to local performances (in state).

I think the internet makes it easier to hear anything you want without having to purchase it. I also think it makes it INCREDIBLY easy to steal, duplicate, and redistribute music illegally and for free. The internet has pretty much become the downfall of selling music. However, I think the internet has made it easier to collaborate with other artists from all over the world and it has given local and unsigned artists more of an opportunity to to be heard. Though I haven't seen a WHOLE lot of unsigned musicians being recognized via internet, I can imagine it happens more than I realize.

It's always been a possibility and an open option to me, but I'd prefer to continue full production independently for the sake of original, untainted sound.

We've been a group since 2005 and since have released two full albums, a mixtape and a collection CD of material that didn't make the albums. We're currently working on our newest project "Chapter Two" which should be released some time this summer as well as rehearsing for Summerfest '09.

There are so many it's hard to narrow down. I listen to literally ALL kinds of music, from classical to jazz to hiphop and rap to techno, bluegrass, country, polka, relaxation, house, everything.
