It's quite a simple name. At the end of all my text msgs I always used to have a template sayin ". .J1" at the end. It was made up by my older brother in 2007 when he first got to hear my new. beats (we don't live together).

Idk, I don't like how the internet has changed music. I'd rather have someone listen to my album then just buy one mp3... not for the sake of money but simply because, I won't make an album so that one lucky song can get to my fans and get all the attention but rather so they can hear what I have to say on the other tracks. Say for instance, I make a concept album on say... The growth of Hip Hop or something like that, what does it help when people download only 3 tracks from like a 20 track lp? They won't get the concept and message of the album.

Well... if I had to give a straight answer.. No.
Why?
Well, signing with a major label is an easy way to breakthrough, which is a good thing, but once you're there, label's really start to mess with your growth as an artist. Sometimes they'll want you to do a certain sound which in the long run may cripple your career as an artist.
