Tammy Kingneal is one of the most gifted inspirational recording artists of this decade. Gifted with a melodic voice and the ability to sing all genres of music, Tammy’s been singing for over 25 years, starting in church at the tender age of 10. In 2002 Tammy released her first debut CD entitled “I’m Free!” The CD touched the hearts of many throughout our nation, as well as abroad, particularly London, England. Her second CD titled “Changed My Life” is soon to be released. This CD will knock you off your feet as you listen and experience transformation in your life because of the powerful message in her songs. Tammy is better known by many as a silent bomb that hits and heals you where you hurt.
Born in Norfolk Va., Tammy moved, at an early age, with her mother to New York City. This move opened a completely new world for her of both good and bad experiences. She turned away from God and started singing in nightclubs; and at the age of 16, was offered a contract with one of New York's well-known singing groups. Her mother truly believed that there was a greater plan for Tammy’s life and therefore refused to sign the contract for her underage daughter. Tammy continued to sing R&B music and refused to obey God until she found herself unable to sing a single note for many years. Eventually, she rededicated her life to God, and accepted his will for her life, and regained her voice.
She served for many years under the leadership of Bishop John and Anne Gimenez of Rock Church International in Virginia Beach, VA. Tammy relocated to the Atlanta area where she currently attends New Birth Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Eddie L. Long.
After years of faithfulness to further the gospel, God blessed Tammy, joining her in marriage to her greatest supporter, and former sound engineer, now the love of her life, Gregory Neal. Tammy’s greatest desire is to touch the world and give hope to the next generation by continuing to write songs that will set people free from life’s challenges.
