I'm from Statesville, NC. Small town with nothing to do.. except for this music. I have always loved music, but never thought about getting into it seriously until recently. So far most of the feedback I've been gettin from locals is positive, so I've decided to branch out an let the world hear me. I make music b/c its what i like to do. I put what i'm feeling into lyrics. I stay true to myself an i rep for mine!
Why this name?
A while back a group of older guys told me, that the way i was growin up was so easy compared to the struggles they went thru. They said my life to like living in "Hollywood" in comparison with theirs. Over time the name just stuck.. an here i am.
Do you play live?
Nothing so far. I've jus been writing an recording. Working on my mixtape. EVERYTHING IS ORIGINAL. Everything that you hear comes from my head. all lyrics, all editing, all effects... Its all me. However i due have to give credit to the producers (vybe beatz, WHP, an Skrazey) other than the instrumentals, its all mine.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives u the opportunity to really put yourself out there an be heard. Get honest opinions an constructive criticism on your music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hmmm... probably have to say yes on that one. I don't know if i could say no to all those dollar signs!
Your influences?
A majority of the ppl i listen to would be Pastor Troy, Jeezy, Styles P an Jadakiss. Im a fan of T.I. an Kanye also. I like em all for different reasons, some for style, others for wordplay. But i think that i have my own individual style.
Favorite spot?
My home.. 704! NORTH CAROLINA!
