Mel-e-o one of the finest men I have met in my life...
I am honored to call him a brother, a near and dear friend.

When he walks into a room it just lights up!

Mel-e-o has been playing the guitar since he was a young child. Through the years he was blessed with working with some of the finest musicians in the Los Angeles area including Ronnie Laws, Grover Washington and too many others to list here. Performances included appearances at many excellent venues including Soul Train, Carnegie Hall to name a few. His work included playing the guitar, being a band leader along with co-writing and arranging of songs.

Mel-e-o a simply amazing musician and song writer! His styles are unique blends of the colors of sound that influenced him in the past along with his own special sauce to sweeten or spice it up!

These styles of music I call futureRETRO...Bands like Earth Wind And Fire, Johnny Guitar Watson and others come to mind when I hear these styles while knowing the sound is uniquely MEL-E-O. Like what you might expect to hear as new music coming forward from the 70's and 80's...the old feel with a new twist! You just never know what to expect next from this fine artist!

Musikreativ is the studio where Mel-e-o's work has been recorded and produced. Musikreativ is raising a new signal tower to transmit only the finest work. At Musikreativ we wish to provide men, women and children with music and song that enhance their lives...music that feeds the heart and the soul. Let us be moved, let us be motivated by accountability...ruled by a higher responsibility to our society, our brothers and sisters.

Musikreativ is a collaboration effort by Cornell d'Angelo "Cd'A" and one or more Musikreativ Renaissance Players...Mel-e-o and I worked together to produce most of the selections you will find here. "Microphone" is an example of our working together to make a song shine by just having fun!

Archives Ltd. is a collection of Mel-e-o's earlier independent work which includes one of my favorite songs dedicated to his mother entitiled "You're Home Now."

We will continue posting new music to this venue as it is produced...
