If you had to classify the TDB sound it would fall somewhere in between the extremes of liquid funk dnb, hipstep jungle, and true school hip hop... more relaxed and minimal than most drum n bass, yet more abstract and intelligent than typical hip hop.

Influences include soul and funk, roots and dub reggae, psychedlic and progressive rock, atmospheric dnb and raggajungle.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps shift things a slight bit more in favor of the independent artist, which is great. However, CDs and filesharing seem to be hurting the underground vinyl industry as well. I'm sure everyone can adapt and find the right niche, but only time will tell.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not likely, because a "major" label would not capture the right audience.
