How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has done wonders for people like Soulja Boy. The people who come up with amazing gimmicks, and constantly make sure they are being seen are the ones who have the upper hand on the people sellin their sh*** on the corner, or out their trunk. what better way to do that then the internet. The widest used way to search for new and old music.
In other ways, it's done harm. Effecting the total gross of cd sales, but, oh well. The artist doesn't really make sh*** from cd sales anyway. If you have true enough fans, and a big enough fan base, it wont matter whether your stuff is gettin ripped from free music providers.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course, seein to it that the world hears my floetry is my dream. Easiest way to do that is to be signed and marketed by the majors.

Wow, Off the top of my head, Grand Pubah, Slick Rick, Jay Z, Big l, Big pun, Biggie, Pac, Jedi mind tricks, Reks, Termanology, Field Mob, Lords of the underground, Pharcyde, A Tribe Called Quest, even people like Lil wayne, T.I, Ludacris, and Cam'Ron have influenced me in one way or another.
