Hello, my name is 54 Pesos. I have been working on the hip hop game since 1999, only recently starting to take things seriously. Be on the lookout for new tracks and video coming soon.
Why this name?
54 Pesos
Was just random chosen name. I needed something unique, plus it was catchy with my friends and people in the local music community.

Do you play live?
I have not performed live yet, it will happen this summer for the first time.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Internet has opened up an entire new range of artist, and well as means of hearing there music. The internet has equalled the playing field so everyone can have a shot at promoting their music, and getting their music heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. That is my plan to sign a record deal with major label, or someone thats will to help me distribute my new album.
Band History:
Been around since late 1999, just with basic freestyles an 1 attempt at a actual track, up until 2008, 54 pesos remained underground. But, with new computer, and new ideas 54 pesos is going to take over the music game in the near future.
Your influences?
souljaboy, becuase he did it all himself. He came from nothing used the internet to promote, and get himself heard. As we speak he has the number 1 song in the country.
