Adam "C.T Hitz" Diaz (born February 7, 1990 in Hartford, Connecticut) is an American born record producer. Formerly known as C-Major, he has found much success in many genres of music, particularly: Hip-Hop, R&B, House, and Dance/Pop. He is best recognized by his signature dog bark and/or downsynth in the beginning and end of the songs he has produced.
C.T Hitz was born in Hartford, Connecticut. Both parents come from Puerto Rican backgrounds, while his grandparents migrated directly from Puerto Rico.
During his childhod, C.T was always surrounded with all genres of music. Whether it was his mother playing old school Freestyle music from artist such as TKA, Stevie B, Coro, Noel, or George Lamond, his father playing Latin music from artist such as Marc Anthony, Hector Lavoe, Victor Manuelle, Frankie Ruiz, and Rey Ruiz, or his uncle spinning the hottest 90's Hip-Hop from artist such as Public Enemy, NAS, Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G, Tupac A. Shakur, NWA, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre etc. No matter where he was, he was always surrounded by an array of music that has always fascinated him.
He became interested in the area of Music Production around the age of 14, in Miami, FL, when his father bought him his first Casio electronic keyboard. From the moment he woke up, into the late hours of the night, he would constantly teach himself how to correctly play the piano. Soon after, he realized he had the ability to listen to a song, then quickly replay it himself by ear.
After months of learning the piano, and composing his own music, he began to combine it with a kick drum, clap, and hi-hats. Before he knew it, he was creating his own instrumentals. His journey began when a close friend put him on to the Digital Audio Workstation known as FL Studio, or Fruity Loops, which he created nearly all of his early instrumentals on.
Soon after, C.T was discovered at a Sam Ash Music Store by the CEO of Southern Breed Records; Konquest 'KB' Bronzeman. KB introduced C.T to the style and music of Dirty South Hip-Hop, and a series musical equipment, and experiences that C.T would have never gained at another recording studio, thus KB soon turning in to C.T's musical big brother introducing him into the world of dirty style Hip-Hop artist such as Outkast, Goodie Mob, UGK, Scarface and a serious of different artist.
During his years, C.T has experimented with programs such as Cubase, Acid, and Reason. It wasn't until 2008 which C.T was introduced to the Yamaha Motif™. Ever since then, there was no turning back.
C.T has worked with artist such as the members of Southern Breed Records, Richdolarz and many more artist to come. This is only the beginning of the journey for C.T. Hitz. Soon, a C.T Hitz production will be playing in your local radio station, lingering in your MP3 player, have you dancing in the most popular nightclubs, and on a Top 10 countdown in your favorite Music Channel.
C.T is open to all his fan base, and stays in contact, replys to messages/comments, and and willing to network. Email C.T at ct.hitz@yahoo.com for more information. Thank you.

-C.T Hitz-
Why this name?
I'm originally from Connecticut, so the C.T derived from the abbreviation for the state. The Hitz is obviously for the tracks I produce. I'm not saying every track I produce is a hit, but it sounds cool. Lol.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not sure.
