Graduate of Laval University(Quebec City), where he now shares his knowledge with the jazz interpretation students, Joël Thibault played in many of the world’s biggest cities, especially in Asia, where he accompanied pianist and composer Steve Barakatt on many tours. A festival regular, invited soloist of the Estuaire Symphonic Orchestra (Rimouski) in 2000 and 2001, he also went on stage in Québec and Montreal in the musical Grease, Elvis Story, Beth.e and steph and, more recently, in Showman, Martin Fontaine’s new production.In 2006, Joël started a new project: Joel & the Outsiders and he is offering us his fist album: Proximity. His second album: Part of life will be available in the next months.
