Why this name?
Alexandre turns out to be a long name... I use Alex for short...
Do you play live?
Yes, I play live, both in my solo projects (especially "Rádio-Ativo") and accompanying Aracê (a band the mixes electronic music, rock and Northeast Brazil traditional music). Doing the "Rádio-Ativo" show, with guitar, drums, virtual synths, videos and dance was extremely pleasurable for me!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is definetely a great opportunity to show one's musical work!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I really don't have this in mind, although I'm open to work with soundtracks.
Your influences?
Vangelis, Mike Oldfield, Kratwerk, Jarre, Vollenweider, Iannis Xenakis, John Cage, Phillip Glass, Enigma
Favorite spot?
Favorite city? In my heart, Fortaleza! Well... Fort Collins deserves a respectable 2nd place!
Equipment used:
A PC and a midi keyboard
