My name is Touch Blevins. Yes Touch is my actual first name my dad gave me that name. I've been DJing since High school, and over the last 2 years i've been making my way into producing beats.
Why this name?
My father gave me the name Touch because that was his nickname. He's a carpenter and he's very good at what he does, so people called him Touch because whatever he touched turned into something great.
Do you play live?
I DJ Live. I enjoy it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's made it easier for the "little guy" to both have access to music easier, and be able to produce music easier.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.
Your influences?
I feel that being a mobile DJ has given me a great ear for what sounds good and what doesn't , what makes people want to move and what doesn't.
