Poised to add a different element to the ever-changing music industry, King Kronos is prepping for his monumental debut. Born as “Azibo Kamau Bethel” on the beautiful island of Trinidad and Tobago, King Kronos is more than a Hip-Hop artist, but yet a visionary in his own right. As a child, he moved from Trinidad to New York City, where he eventually formed a rap group called the Abstract Mindz with a cousin and close friend. The group released a mix-tape in 2007 titled, “Hostile Takeover Vol. I., and eventually disbanded as they were moving in different directions. During that time, he released two mix-tapes and a few years later formed another group called “5th Element.”
With solid musical influences from Hip-Hop superstars ranging from Lupe Fiasco, Jay-Z, Tupac, Kanye West, and many others, he is creating an eclectic masterpiece filled with a deep message accounting the good, the bad, and the ugly aspects of life. After the many years he spent writing songs and trying to perfect his musical talents, Azibo “King Kronos” Bethel is as ready to cause a stir in the music world. The talented rapper states, “I have only the best intentions. I plan to make all types of music, but my main focus is world-wide enlightenment. I may only be dreaming, but if that’s so, then I guess I’ll never wake up.”

Why this name?
I wanted something that described me as a person and not just something that sounded good. So while looking into some greek mythology I came across the story of Cronus who was the youngest of the titans and yet the strongest of them (Which described me to the tee) but I wanted a way to make my name human so I imagined that if Cronus was human he would have to be a king.
Do you play live?
Yea I live for it!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
