Dublin based songwriter/musician/producer . Down-Tempo Soulful tracks . I like to come out of my comfort zone . So i tend to mix genres up . I honestly dont know how I,d describe myself ... So I leave that up to the listener . I use the influence of Soul , Indie , Funk & Electro then try to give it a laid back vibe . My early roots of Electronica seep somewhere into the sound .

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
... It has been said so many times I suppose ... It has handed the opportunity & possibility back into the hands of the music makers . The downside I suppose is illegal copies . Bigger artists can survive this because a lot of people would rather have a hardcopy but break through & emerging artists can find their sales stunted by people burning copies .
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Major Labels , by their very nature tend to go for sure things . I mean they wouldnt sign you unless they are sure they will break even maybe even double their money . And will do the whole "mould ya" exercise . From the artwork to the production . So for an artist with a strong sense of where they want to go this can cause friction . Smaller labels albeit with less chequebook power can work far more hand in hand with the artist . Both sides working on where the music and its marketing should go .
Your influences?
Im one of those people who never stuck to one type of music . From my early teens on I went from genre to genre . Listening to each style & learning what that musics trademark was . Like Reggae has that off beat on the third bar or how Funk uses the rhythm section to drive the song with minimal melody on top . Things like this I picked up and then tried them myself . It also showed me what I could and couldnt do . I mean , I learned pretty quick I was never going to make it as a rock guitarist or a classical pianist .
Favorite spot?
My home town ... Dublin
