Why this name?
There is a fair it of talk a bout the biblical flood now that we are coming close to 2012. Its predicted to happen at the exact same time the earth passes into aquarius, its all about astronomy.
Do you play live?
At the moment no, just do production. I expect to do a few shows in a few months.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
bit of an outdated question really. it opens the doors for billions of independent artists. There's more competition today then ever before. The big industry names may be suffering but for musical progression as a whole, its the best thing since vinyl or radio.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Well every contract is negotiable so if we agree on everything, then yes i would.
Band History:
It started back in 2006 when i was starting to record an earlier solo project, "Alogia~Revolution No.1". Recording samples & laying them out with Acid & Soundforge. While promoting that project I was asked to make various tracks for online artists, rap beats etc.
I started trading samples and arranging tracks with & for other artists online, until eventually i was basically drafted into the world of production.
Right now I'm kinda looking at and hearing it all with outside eyes and ears. This is very handy because there is potential to get something new and fresh around that time. The more familiar i get with the scene the harder it seems, almost the exact opposite of most departments. But it never gets boring.
Your influences?
I'm very into theme music or classical, I play in a metal band so there are some influences there. I try listen to all music with open ears, especially when it comes to production. My favorite trance artists would be stuff like The Viceroy, Ferry Corsten, William Orbit, Alias... Anything hard trance really.
Favorite spot?
not very interesting
