Why this name?
I want to develop my own sound of music and since Genesis means new beginning or new era, I wish to bring a new generation of originality. I'm in the early stages of developing a style to call my own, but in time I will bring something new to the table.
Do you play live?
Havent played live or done any shows yet but I do have my music page I just started up www.myspace.com/ammerced.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changes it big time. If you don't time to go to the store to pick up your favorite artist's album, you can now download the album and purchase it on the internet. Plus since everybody logs in the internet, it's a lot easier to promote your music. It's convenient.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Possibly. If there was any major label I would like sign to the most would be Dr.Dre's Aftermath label but that's about it.

Influences to make beats are Dr.Dre, Timbaland, and Eminem.
