I have been making Trance music since 13 years old. I have largely focused on Commercial Trance and slowly creeping into Progressive and Uplifting Trance. All my productions are made and produced in FL Studio XXL which limits my track mastering but gives my an open architecture project to have my unique sound and feel. Trance has been my life since i was a little kid and was always intrigued by how it was made. I am also into beat production and other genres of music like classical.
Why this name?
I always wanted to show my music as Dj Sytrus, but i preferred my full name for easier recondition.
Do you play live?
I have played live at a number of Habitat For Humanity events. It felt fenomenal to even stand in front of 500 people.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
There is a lot mroe expolsure to the music artists are making. However, the music is becoming easier to acces without paying which hurts us musicians.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Well of course i would like to, but i have college to go through and a road to follow to have a solid platform for my future. If possible to have both, yes, anytime.
Your influences?
Armin Van Buuren and Dj Tiesto have been my ultimate inspiration for trance music. Most of my influences come from that club feeling we all get. Sometimes when someone bumps the good old techno at the parties or watching videos from Trance Energy concerts and Sensation White and Black
