Why this name?
Travis in Spanish (Traviso) means mischievous, and since I'm always getting into trouble, the name fits.
Do you play live?
I will, but besides corner battles and cyphers I haven't yet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives a lot more artists a chance to be heard by many people and also lets you interact with more artists around the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, on the condition that I didn't have to change my style in any way.
Band History:
A 15 year old that grew up in Denver, had to move because of the trouble I was getting into, and now I live in Wyoming, and I'm still in trouble. I bring my emotions into my lyrics, along with dope and original concepts.
Your influences?
My influences would have to be all true MC's and DJ's, for example Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Hi-Tek, Eminem, and Common. Those are the people most of you have heard of, but my largest influence comes from people that push me to be better, give me honest criticism and feedback. I get a lot of that at Spitboxer.com.
